First-year BPharm students shine at Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences

  



Mangaluru, Jun 6: Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FMCOPS) announced the exceptional performance of its first year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) students in the first semester Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) university examinations.

A total of 30 students appeared for the examinations across four core pharmacy subjects, with 22 students securing distinction. The pass percentage in Pharmaceutics was an impressive 100%, while Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry – I and Human Anatomy & Physiology (HAP) each recorded a pass rate of 96.67%. Pharmaceutical Analysis followed closely with a pass percentage of 90%. The results reflect the students’ dedication and the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.

The overall academic performance has been remarkable, with pass percentages exceeding 90% in all subjects.

Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director FMCI, Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo designate director and Dr Satish S principal FMCOPS, congratulated the students and faculty on their excellent performance. Beyond academics, the freshers also participated enthusiastically in national-level pharmacy quizzes, scientific poster presentations, awareness drives on rational drug use, and health camps organized in association with the Father Muller Medical College Hospital. Their contributions to community outreach programs, such as free medical check-ups and patient counseling sessions, have been applauded by faculty and healthcare professionals alike. The management and teaching staff recognized these achievements in a felicitation event held on campus, where academic toppers and active contributors were honored with certificates and mementos.
